When choosing materials, you select two films that determine the look of your graphics: the print base and the protective laminate. The base determines how colours appear, the metallic or holographic effect, and transparency. The laminate adds a gloss, matte, glitter or textured finish.
The adhesive system is intended for the stated application. Actual adhesion and wear depend on the material, substrate, preparation, installation and use. No finish is scratch-proof and no identical service life is promised across combinations. Price differences reflect material costs, not an additional warranty.
How does the print base affect colours?
The same design will look different on white, chrome, holographic or Silver Metallic film. Coloured inks are not completely opaque, so the effect of the chosen base remains visible through them. Colours gain a metallic sheen or holographic reflections, but their shade also changes. The base effect is generally more visible through lighter colours and less visible through darker colours.
When choosing a special-effect base, bear in mind that the final colours may differ from the same design printed on white film. Colours and effects also vary with the lighting and viewing angle.
If you want white design elements
On a white print base, the film itself provides the white colour. On chrome, holographic, Silver Metallic or clear film, white elements require white ink.
Our printer uses white ink, so we can print selected parts of your design in white while retaining the base effect elsewhere. If you want the white areas of your design to stay white, clearly state this in your order comment, for example:
“Print all white areas of the design with white ink, and leave the other elements with the effect of the selected print base.”
If you do not request white ink, the white design areas will remain unprinted and show the chosen base: chrome, holographic or silver. Wherever white ink is applied, it covers the base effect.
Choosing a clear print base
Without white ink, the white areas of your design remain transparent, revealing the surface beneath the graphics. Coloured areas may also be partially translucent, so the colour of the application surface will influence their appearance.
If you want white elements or opaque coloured areas, specify in your order comment where you need white ink or a white underbase beneath the colours. This lets us combine transparent areas with white or colour-printed elements.
Legal guarantee
Consumers have the statutory legal guarantee of conformity: under Lithuanian law the seller is liable for a lack of conformity appearing within two years of delivery, without prejudice to longer mandatory protection that may apply. A lack appearing within the first year is presumed to have existed at delivery unless proved otherwise or incompatible with the nature of the goods or defect. This is not a promise that graphics remain visually unchanged for two years regardless of riding or installation. Applicable suspension/extension rules remain available. For goods purchased from 31 July 2026, choosing repair rather than replacement under the Lithuanian legal guarantee extends the liability period once by one year for the whole product, where the statutory conditions apply. We will explain this choice when arranging a remedy.
Scratches, wear and external damage
PVC graphics and laminate can be scratched and abraded. Fine scratches, rubbing and gradual cosmetic wear are expected with vehicle use; their presence does not alone establish a defect at delivery. Boots, luggage, crashes, branches and stones can cause local damage. Close high-pressure jets directed at decal edges can mechanically lift them. Fuel, solvents, aggressive chemicals and unsuitable cleaners can affect the film and print; no unverified chemical resistance is promised. Damage caused by these external influences is not a manufacturing defect. This is a causation assessment, not an exclusion of every used product or every product that has been pressure washed. Longer use makes subsequent wear, maintenance and exposure increasingly relevant; mandatory conformity rights and presumptions remain.
Before installation, storage and care
Before installation check the model, version, year, design, material, pieces, visible printing/cutting issues and transport damage. If an obvious issue is found, stop and contact us before applying or modifying the affected piece. Removing the liner, positioning, heating, stretching, trimming and application physically alter the product and can affect adhesive evidence. Installing despite an obvious issue may affect assessment of additional damage and the appropriate remedy, but does not automatically waive statutory rights. Unless specific instructions say otherwise, apply dry to a suitable clean, dry and properly degreased surface, following the supplied preparation, temperature, heating and care instructions. Store dry and clean, away from excessive heat/cold and sunlight, without folding or crushing. Relevant storage information may be requested after extended storage; no arbitrary shelf life is imposed. After noticing an issue, take safe, reasonable steps to avoid worsening it: do not pull lifting edges, continue cutting disputed pieces, apply solvents or direct pressure jets at them. Avoidable subsequent damage is assessed separately.
